Join to apply for the Clinical Operations Lead, Mental Health role at Amplar HealthThe OpportunityOur Mental Health team work across a range of services include triage, assessment, crisis intervention, referral, and counselling services for people experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns including extreme emotional distress.As a Clinical Leadyou will provide leadership, coaching and support to a team of approximately 25 Virtual Mental Health Professionals. You will be working closely with the Operations Managers to ensure that rigorous clinical governance is observed in your team and that they have the operational efficiencies and clinical support needed to excel in service delivery.In this role you will lead a culture of clinical excellence, customer focus, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency through your team with the support of Senior Leadership.While the focus of this role is clinical and operational management and governance, Clinical Leads may be asked from time to time to work a shift taking program calls to maintain familiarity with the requirements and current issues.This will be a permanent position, with hours Monday-Friday between 8am-10pm. You will have a set weekly roster with some flexibility within these hours to suit your lifestyle. There may be scope for extended hours in the future though this would be negotiated if the need arises.This is a work from home role and can be based anywhere in Australia.About YouTo be successful in your application for this role you will have:Minimum 5 years clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting, with at least 3 years in acute mental health (for example mental health telephone triage, inpatient unit, mental health emergency department assessments, community settings)At least 3 years experience in a clinical leadership role with experience in coaching and mentoringA clinical qualification in a relevant discipline of nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, or social workCurrent registration with AHPRA for associated disciplines or AASW with mental health accreditation.Extensive clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.You are self-driven and can work autonomously from home.Computer literacy, a proficiency with contact centre KPI dimensions and associated data, with a working competency of the Microsoft office product suiteOther requirementsSuitable internet connectionwith proven speed tests during peak and offpeak hours maintaining minimum speeds of 50/20Proof of application of a working with children checkPrivate room/space which can be used for your home office set upBenefitsGreat work life balance- as such, this role has lots of freedom to work from home and home could be anywhere in Australia!Impressive, 35% subsidised Medibank/ahm health insurance which can also include your pets, cars, upcoming travel, and house!
