About The RoleBased in Orbost on the beautiful coastline of the Gippsland region, we are seeking to engage a trade qualified Instrumentation and Electrical Operator Maintainer. The Orbost based plant processes natural gas extracted from our offshore Sole gas field. The Plant connects to the Eastern Gas Pipeline, which transports gas into the New South Wales and Victoria markets. Working a 7:7 roster, the Electrical Operator Maintainer will work as part of an experienced team to support our Orbost Gas Processing Plant. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, your main duties will include:Operate and monitor Orbost Gas Processing facilities, pipeline systems and any associated plant in accordance with procedures to meet KPI''s and contractual obligationsPlan, organise and perform routine and unscheduled maintenance of gas processing facilities, pipeline systems and any associated plantUndertake technical analysis and evaluations on plant performance diagnosing solutions to reoccurring problems, recommending modifications and improvements on plant performance to avoid plant failureProvide effective documentation for programmed and corrective maintenance programsDevelop and maintain effective, supportive, and reliable communication and professional working relationships with field and office-based colleaguesEnsure allocated corrective and preventative maintenance carried out aligned with CMMS plan.Undertake Safety Critical Function Testing, Rectifications and Risk Assessments as required.Manage the on-site Permit to Work System in accordance with Amplitude Energy proceduresRepresent Amplitude Energy in the local communitySkills and ExperiencesAbout YouEssential to the role is Electrical trade qualifications and significant operator experience in oil and gas.
