These are two of Western Australia''s premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.We are currently seeking an Underground Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Reporting into the Underground Maintenance Superintendent.This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.AccountabilitiesAssisting theUnderground Maintenance Superintendent, in supervising an underground electrical maintenance team and ensuring that they are trained and developed to their full potentialWorking with the maintenance team in a ''hands on'' capacity and carrying out electrical maintenance work when requiredWork closely with the mechanical department personnelLiaising with maintenance personnel on safety, performance and technical issuesAssisting in the management and execution of daily, weekly and monthly work plans and schedulesWork closely with mining departments and engineers, for the development of future power requirement plans, to ensure mining activities are not disruptedAllen Bradley PLC and Citect working knowledge desirable but not essentialDeveloping detailed maintenance plans for the delivery of work including assessing labour requirementsAssisting in the development of electrical engineering standards and work practices;Ensuring team compliance with all company, legislative and statutory regulations in regards to safety and the environment; andLiaising with stores personnel to ensure timely arrival of parts and equipment.Attending after-hours breakdown callouts when required to support the team.About YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do. To be considered, we would like to see you have:Hold a WA "A" Grade Unrestricted Electrical Workers License (Cert IV in Instrumentation is desirable but not essential)Be eligible to be an In-House Electrical License nomineeBe responsible for all duties required as an In-House Electrical License nomineeHave extensive mining industry experience in maintenance and installations preferably in underground hard rock miningPast experience in a supervisory rolePrevious experience with maintenance planning/scheduling within CMMS systems desirable, preferably SAPHold excellent communication and leadership skills with superior analytical, planning and prioritising skillsAbility to use Microsoft computer software, including Outlook, Office and ProjectAbility to work with engineers for project design and planning of underground high voltage reticulationsHigh Voltage switching certificateExperience in carrying out and supervising High Voltage switching operations on underground mine equipment, including RMUs.Astrong commitment to safety, with the ability to forge strong working relationships and motivate high performanceHold a current WA C Class Drivers LicenseExisting and ongoing Permanent working rights in Australia (Mandatory)Culture and BenefitsOur workplace demonstrates dignity and respect for each other, we offer challenging work, highly competitive remuneration that is regularly adjusted to market conditions and career development opportunities.
