Reporting into the Underground Maintenance Superintendent.This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.AccountabilitiesAssisting theUnderground Maintenance Superintendent, in supervising an underground electrical maintenance team and ensuring that they are trained and developed to their full potentialWorking with the maintenance team in a ''hands on'' capacity and carrying out electrical maintenance work when requiredWork closely with the mechanical department personnelLiaising with maintenance personnel on safety, performance and technical issuesAssisting in the management and execution of daily, weekly and monthly work plans and schedulesWork closely with mining departments and engineers, for the development of future power requirement plans, to ensure mining activities are not disruptedAllen Bradley PLC and Citect working knowledge desirable but not essentialDeveloping detailed maintenance plans for the delivery of work including assessing labour requirementsAssisting in the development of electrical engineering standards and work practices;Ensuring team compliance with all company, legislative and statutory regulations in regards to safety and the environment; andLiaising with stores personnel to ensure timely arrival of parts and equipment.Attending after-hours breakdown callouts when required to support the team.About YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
