About the roleWe''re looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the end-to-end payroll function across JPL Group. Managing a team of six, you''ll oversee fortnightly payroll for 4,0005,000 retail team members and a monthly Head Office payroll, ensuring compliance with awards, agreements, and legislation.This is a handson leadership role where you''ll drive process improvements, lead payroll projects, and play a key role in enterprise agreement negotiations. If you''re passionate about people, compliance, and continuous improvement and want to make an impact in a fastpaced retail environment we''d love to hear from you!What will you do?Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 4,0005,000 team members using Dayforce and Chris21, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Ensure timely and accurate submissions to the ATO, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) and other statutory reporting.Oversee superannuation, leave, termination payments, workers'' compensation, and employmentrelated tax obligations.Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and bank, and provide accurate reporting and payroll analysis to key stakeholders.Lead, coach, and support a team of six payroll professionals, driving performance and continuous development.Maintain and improve payroll systems, processes, and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to deliver process improvements and system upgrades.Provide timely support for employee payroll queries, ensuring a high standard of customer service.What skills and experience do you need?Minimum 3 years'' experience managing a payroll team in a highvolume environment, ideally within retail or multisite operations.Strong understanding of employment legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing payroll teams.Experience working with payroll and time & attendance systems, preferably Dayforce and Chris21.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for payroll reporting and analysis.Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.Excellent organisational and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Relevant tertiary qualifications in payroll, finance, human resources, or a related discipline are highly desirable.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the largest jewellery retailer in Australia.If this sounds like you then click ''Apply Now'' and sparkle with us! #J-18808-Ljbffr
