Today, AEC is part of the largest emergency and specialist group in Australia, hosting the largest contingent of Emergency Veterinarians in the country.You''ll collaborate with dedicated veterinarians, veterinary nurses, customer care representatives and clinic assistants who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their devoted owners.Although this role is to focus in ECC we are open to discussing a role that is a combination of GP and ECC.The Role:Combination of hospital shifts and consulting shiftsVaried shifts including days, nights, and weekendsSupportive and collaborative team environmentif you''re new to ECC, we offer shadowing shifts with experienced ECC vets to guide youAbout You:Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in QueenslandA minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary practice, though it''s not essentialA strong team player committed to fostering a positive workplace atmosphereEagerness to contribute innovative ideas that enhance the hospital''s growth and successDedication to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary careExcellent communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinariansCompetitive salary based on experienceOpportunities to apply for ECC Membership Preparation coursesDiagnostics, Surgeries & Medical Procedures may be performed in-clinic when the clinician is competent & referral is not deemed necessary for the patient''s care.Internal 1:1 membership tutorial sessions available for those pursuing membershipContinuous learning opportunities through case discussions with our specialistsWork alongside a large team of highly skilled veterinary nursesAccess to Greencross CE programsComplimentary attendance at one of Australia''s largest veterinary symposiumsour own Greencross Clinical SymposiumRequirements:Current Veterinary registration and relevant qualifications.A strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care across ECC settings.The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting.Strong organisational and communication skills.Join us as we continue to expand and evolve into a 24/7 facility.
