OverviewWe''re looking for a People Partner to join our People Advisory team in Melbourne and play a pivotal role in developing leadership capability, enabling a high-performing culture, and supporting strong talent development across an allocated portfolio.This role is ideal for an experienced HR practitioner who is curious, proactive and confident influencing at all levels. You''ll work closely with the Principal People Advisory & Learning and senior leaders, building leadership confidence across both people strategy and day-to-day delivery.What You''ll DoPartner with sectors and team leaders to deeply understand objectives and deliver strategic people solutions that support high performance, growth and operational successEnable leadership effectiveness through tailored coaching, guidance and development initiatives that build capability, confidence and accountabilityProactively support leaders in managing complex employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances and performance issues, with a focus on early intervention and constructive resolutionServe as a trusted advisor on workplace matters, fostering strong relationships and promoting a positive and inclusive cultureLead and support change management initiatives, including restructures and organisational transitions, ensuring effective communication, employee engagement and risk mitigationDrive and support employee cycle activity including engagement, retention and cultural initiatives by aligning people strategies with sector or team goals and employee feedbackBuild leader capability in employment law, policy interpretation and people management through coaching, training and ongoing supportAdvise on legal and reputational risks in HR decision-making, ensuring compliance, best practice and alignment with practice valuesLead and support end-to-end recruitment, and retention strategies.Monitor and analyse key people metrics, preparing reports and insights on workforce trends, risks and legislative obligationsWhat You''ll BringRelevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in a HR business partnering or people advisory role, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environmentStrong knowledge of employment law, employment obligations and contemporary people practicesProven ability to influence and coach leaders through complex people matters with sound judgement and empathyStrong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust quicklyStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines through to completionAgile and flexible approach, comfortable operating both strategically and hands-onExperience using HRIS systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. lookups, pivot tables, data analysis and reporting)Why join Architectus?Architectus is one of Australasia''s largest and most diverse architecture and design practices, with more than 770 designers and specialists working across eleven studios.
