This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various departments and external partners to deliver compelling and impactful events to our audiences. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity, excellent project management skills, and a genuine passion for the arts.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Development and Production Lead the planning, project management, and execution of signature events like the PaintIn Festival and Urbanite, in collaboration with interdepartmental teams. Manage Development events including member and donorrelated gatherings, ensuring seamless collaboration with staff. Oversee all aspects of event logistics, from permits and catering to staffing and A/V troubleshooting, guaranteeing smooth operation from start to finish.Grant Writing and Fundraising Support Assist in identifying funding opportunities and drafting grant proposals to secure financial support for the gallery''s events and programs. Work collaboratively with the Development team to create compelling narratives and budgets for grant applications.Other Duties Guide the selection and management of external contractors and consultants for Gallery events. Generate communication briefs for events and programs and assist in preparation of RFPs and RFQs as needed. Supervise and schedule interns, summer students, and contractors as necessary.Administration Develop and monitor event budgets and compile event reports including evaluations to continuously enhance event delivery.
