With You, We Can Make All the Difference!About the role:Our Sugar Valley Lifestyle Estate is on the lookout for a Golf Course Superintendent who is a self-starter and who leads by example. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the care and maintenance of either golf or bowling greens or similar. as a qualified and or experienced Greenkeeper You will be comfortable working within our residential and retirement village environment, interacting respectfully with our residents, staff and volunteers.Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the golf course and associated machinery as well as organise volunteers to ensure that the golf course grounds are kept to a suitable playing standard. This will include general maintenance tasks fundamental to keeping the golf course in tip top condition, ensuring a safe and comfortable playing environment for our residents.Key responsibilities:Perform scheduled/planned maintenance tasks within the golf course grounds and gardens to maintain appearance and functionalityMaintain the visual appeal of the Golf Course to enhance player satisfaction and attract prospective new membersMaintain cleanliness, tidiness, and proper maintenance of all equipmentKeeping an up to date asset register and chemical registerPrioritise and respond promptly to breakdown/repair requestAdhere to approved roster schedules for efficient coordination of work activitiesProvide supervision, advice and some direction for the Volunteers to achieve desired outcomesAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for staff, volunteers and players.Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to meet our service delivery goals.Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, demonstrating respect, empathy, and genuine understanding towards the needs of our aged residents.Qualifications, skills, and experienceTrade qualifications in an electrical services trade, with a minimum of 5 years'' experienceCurrent Driver''s LicenseCurrent First Aid CertificateEffective time management and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detailInterpersonal skills to liaise effectively between staff, players, volunteers, Golf Club Committees and industry representativesKnowledge of relevant legislation related to golf course standards and workplace health and safetyWillingness to obtain and NDIS Workers Screen Check and undertake a pre-employment medical assessmentWhat We Offer YouA place to be valued for who you are and deliver your best workNot For Profit salary packaging availableFitness Passport - Access to Gyms and Leisure Facilities NationwideValued EAP ProgramOpportunities for professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
