OverviewAssetlink expanded its Integrated Facilities Services into the Mining Sector in 2020, specifically delivering Village Services to mining companies in remote Australian locations. Assetlink Village Services (AVS) has grown at a steady rate, and we are seeking future leaders to grow alongside.The RoleWe are currently seeking for a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Village Manager looking for Full Time FIFO ExPert employment working at one of our Mining Villages. As the Village Manager, you will take full operational ownership of a remote mining village, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all Village Services. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing catering, accommodation, cleaning, tavern, transport, facilities, and logistics operations, while maintaining strict compliance with HSEQ, WHS, food safety, and client service standards.Role RequirementsCurrent C class WA Driver''s Licence (ESSENTIAL)Current National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)Demonstrated experience managing village operations in remote or mining environmentsSound understanding of FIFO rosters, logistics coordination, and resource planningProven ability to manage large-scale catering services in industrial kitchen or camp settingsStrong knowledge of HACCP principles, FSANZ food safety standards, and audit readinessUnderstanding of mine site cleaning requirements and infection control practices and safe chemical handling (e.g., SDS, dilution systems)Strong understanding of WHS legislation and mine site safety protocolsExperience in delivering toolbox talks, incident investigations, and completing risk assessments (e.g., JHAs, SWMS)Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersProficient in budget oversight, stock ordering, and cost managementExperience in invoicing, payroll/timesheet reconciliation, and cost reportingFamiliarity with systems such as SAP, MEX, or other consumables and asset management toolsConfident decision-maker with sound judgment across operational and personnel mattersStrong documentation skills, including incident reports, audit logs, and compliance trackingCompetent in using Microsoft Office, SafetyCulture, SwiftPOS, and other relevant systemsFood Safety Supervisor Certificate & Senior First Aid (highly regarded)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol tests (ESSENTIAL)Approved Manager''s CertificateWhat We Offer YouAll meals, accommodation, flights/travel providedReward and recognition incentivesOngoing training and developmentA safe and supportive working environmentA family-oriented cultureUniform providedHow to ApplyIf you''re a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to providing excellent service and would like to be part of a key onsite team, please submit your cover letter and resume outlining your relevant experience by clicking the Apply button.Diversity CommitmentAssetlink is committed to maintaining, growing and supporting our diverse and inclusive culture, by seeking and promoting diversity within each of our work sites.
