The Client Our client is a widely recognised brand within Victoria, providing a range of key Services to a variety of State and Private Sector industries. Located in Melbourne''s CBD Fringe, they have recently undergone an exciting transition which has set them up for a strong period of growth and development over the coming years. With Hybrid working arrangement (3/2 WFH) they are seeking a strong all rounder to join the team as a Corporate or Senior Corporate Accountant, taking ownership of key reporting requirements and operating as a reliable 2iC to management.The RoleAs 2iC to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:Preparing annual Stat accounts, taking ownership of this process with the support of junior staff.Leading the Group''s consolidated performance reporting, providing key insights through management reports, variance analysis and cashflow.Assisting with CFO and Executive reports, including Monthly and Quarterly Board and Shareholder reports.Manage the preparation of monthly tax obligations including BAS, GST, Payroll Tax and annual Workcover return.Provide support in ad hoc projects, including suggesting areas for process improvement and streamlining efficiencies where possible.The Ideal CandidateThis role will ideally suit someone who has:CA / CPA Qualification.Hands-on experience with Statutory accounting requirements, taking ownership of responsibilities or leading end-to-end.Experience managing month-end tasks, particularly Tax obligations and management reporting.Systems knowledge, and the ability to pick up new tools confidently - Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is strongly preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both junior members of staff and key senior figures.Keen interest in process improvement, and the ability to streamline inefficiencies to improve workflow.To ApplyIf you are interested in the position and feel that you would be a good fit, please apply via the button below or send your CV to [emailprotected] #J-18808-Ljbffr
