Update profile visibility.Add expected salary to your profile for insights.The RoleThis is a site based supervisor''s role, responsible for overseeing daily earthworks and project activities to ensure works are delivered within budget and on schedule.You will work closely with the senior management team and report to the Project Manager.Our CompanyExact Contracting was established in 1992 and has a reputable history in the Civil, Mining and Agriculture industries, built on years of experience providing high quality services to a range of clients.Today, Exact Contracting employs over 500 people nationally and is highly regarded for its capability to deliver safe and innovative quality services and products to its customers.Key responsibilitiesLeading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules;Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements;Providing effective leadership and supervision through ''on the ground'' presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals;Providing timely and accurate information to meet management and Client requirements;Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities;Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client;Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner;Inspiring and encouraging others towards goal achievement;Periodically assessing employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary.Candidate RequirementsExperience in a supervisory/management role within bulk/civil earthworks (essential);Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification) (highly regarded);S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (highly regarded)Demonstrated understanding of mining and/or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance;Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors;Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc;Self-motivated with a positive attitude;Desire to work in remote locations; andHave a hands-on approach.Exact Contracting will provideCompetitive remuneration;Daily meal allowances OR meals provided on site;Accommodation;A great team and culture;Opportunities to professionally develop in a challenging role.Pre-EmploymentAll candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.ApplyApply by clicking on the ''apply'' button or visiting our website.Exact Contracting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Only Shortlisted candidates for the advertised role will be contacted, however we do appreciate the time and effort provided in all applications received.Unlock job insightsResearching careers?
