Initial 12-month assignment (w/ a view to permanency after review)A leading logistics operation is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to take ownership of daily operations, people leadership and performance outcomes at a high-volume Yatala facility.This role is ideal for a handson leader who can manage people, resources and processes to deliver safe, efficient and costeffective distribution outcomes while meeting customer and operational KPIs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily warehouse and distribution operationsConduct toolbox talks and set daily operational prioritiesLead, motivate and performance-manage operational teamsPlan and manage labour, vehicle and equipment requirementsEnsure KPIs, SLAs and safety standards are consistently metDevelop and deliver training plans to build a multiskilled workforceOversee payroll signoff (Kronos) and operational reportingDrive continuous improvement and process optimisationInvestigate incidents, service failures and implement corrective actionsLiaise with production, customer service and other internal teamsSkills & ExperienceCertificate or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or related disciplineRelevant industry experience considered in lieu of formal qualificationsProven experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing or distributionStrong people leadership and communication skillsComputer literacy and warehouse system experience (RAMCO)Solid understanding of KPIs, cost control and operational efficiencyHigh attention to detail with strong administration capabilityAbility to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environmentAt Quest Personnel, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities for all and embracing diversity in the workplace.
