This role offers the opportunity to join agrowing, experienced teamand to take on a senior leadership role that shapes work with real consequence.AsDirector, Impact Advisory, you will lead complex client engagements, support and grow the advisory team, and contribute to the direction and credibility of Impact Seed''s work across Western Australia. Current and recent client examples include State Government (DPIRD, DWER and Keystart), Corporates (South32, CBH, Rio Tinto), Aboriginal Organisations (The Pilbara Ranger Network, Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation, WA Mirning People Aboriginal Corporation, Indigenous Desert Alliance), NFPs (The Kids Institute, WA Return Recycle Renew, Volunteering WA, Perth NRM) and a wide range of social and First Nations enterprises.This is important and meaningful work, shaping strategy, guiding investment and strengthening organisations in ways that matter for communities and Country across Western Australia.More information on our services is available here.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee a portfolio of complex, multi-stakeholder advisory projects across sectors.Provide strategic direction and quality assurance across project design, analysis, facilitation and deliverables.Support clients to navigate complex systems challenges and deliver measurable social, environmental and economic outcomes.Team Leadership & Capability BuildingManage, mentor and develop Impact Consultants and Specialists, supporting their technical growth and career progression.Build team capability in strategy, outcomes management, evaluation and systems thinking.Contribute to resourcing, work-planning and the ongoing scaling of the impact advisory team.Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as a senior trusted advisor to government, corporate, Aboriginal corporation and community-sector clients.Lead high-level stakeholder engagement and facilitate complex workshops and decision-making processes.Maintain strong, values-aligned relationships with partners, funders and collaborators.Business Development & GrowthLead and support business development activities including opportunity identification, proposal development and pitching.Contribute to the evolution of Impact Seed''s service offerings and go-to-market strategy.Represent Impact Seed externally through networks, events and thought leadership as appropriate.Required ExperienceMust-have10+ years experience in consulting, strategy, program leadership or impact-focused roles across government, private or social sectors.Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and managing multiple engagements simultaneously.Strong systems thinking capability and a deep understanding of the Western Australian context.Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring and managing high-performing teams.Experience in strategy development, qualitative and financial analysis, and market or policy research.Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated experience working with First Nations organisations and an understanding of cultural considerations.Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable operating in a dynamic, project-based environment.Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AI-enabled tools.Experience in impact measurement, evaluation or ESG.Strong client relationship management and business development track record.Experience contributing to organisational growth.QualificationsA strong academic record including a graduate degree in Business, Social Science, Sustainability, Public Policy/Administration, Law or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).Why Join Impact Seed?Be part of a purpose-driven organisation shaping WA''s social enterprise and impact ecosystem.Lead diverse, high-impact projects across government, corporate and community sectors.Play a meaningful role in growing a values-aligned advisory practice and mentoring the next generation of impact leaders.Flexible and friendly work environment.Opportunity to create tangible, system-level change.We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and value lived experience alongside professional expertise.We are looking to appoint this role as soon as possible and will be interviewing on a rolling basis.
