Our client, based in Bassendean, is seeking an experienced and handson Operations Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of their operational linemarking works across Statewide Panel Contracts and private projects. This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fastpaced, fieldbased environment, enjoys being close to the action, and takes pride in driving highquality outcomes through strong people and process management.You will play a pivotal role in overseeing daytoday operations, leading supervisors and field crews, coordinating resources, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Working closely with the General Manager, clients, suppliers, and internal teams, this role offers both strategic oversight and practical, ontheground involvement.What You''ll Be DoingLiaise with clients for programming and delivery of worksCoordinate personnel for shiftsPrepare monthly claims for SPC contractsManage manufacturing worksClose out completed works including documentationMeasure performance and production for cost effectivenessTrain and support employeesControl and order stock and materialsTender and quote future worksEnsure all employees under direct supervision are wearing the correct PPEApply continuous improvement opportunities in all processes and proceduresOther duties as directed by your direct managerKey AccountabilitiesSuccessful planning and delivery of contractsOptimise efficiency of field crewsPerformance management of employeesMentor, coach and train direct reportsDemonstrate leadership and minimise turnoverEnsure safety and quality management systems are implementedEnsure product meets specificationsMaintain plant and equipmentCarry out all functions in accordance with company''s OH&S Policy and Safety Management System to AS/NZS 4801.
