Today, Lismore is flourishing, and it''s the perfect time to embrace and celebrate everything that makes the regional city so unique, while also being directly involved in shaping its future.The OpportunityAs a Flood Recovery Site Coordinator, you will work closely with our Portfolio team, broader Council, customers, and contractors to supervise and coordinate civil construction operations across multiple sites and ensure compliance with all relevant council legislation and safety standards.What we trust you to deliverUndertake surveillance, inspections and condition assessment of civil infrastructure, and capture, upload, analyse and report on data collected relating to defects, risks, failures and general maintenance needsContribute to the improvement of WHS and risk management practices within the project''s scopeResponding and investigating customer service requestsSupervise and coordinate civil construction operations across multiple sitesEnsure compliance with all relevant council legislation and safety standardsEnsure designs demonstrate compliance with existing safety standards or Government regulations/legislation pertinent to the specific design areaAssisting the Senior members with the development and implementation of operational, service and maintenance programs including scoping and the preparation of estimates; andManage the quality of the project and any plans, policies, and procedures related to the projectHave input into project costs and program (schedule) to ensure projects are delivered on time and budgetConduct pre-start meetings and ensure proper documentation, including purchase ordersAble to manage and mitigate delays through redeployment of labour and schedule adjustmentHigh-level commercial acumen in recognising variations to the works under contract and forming an extension of time claimsDemonstrated experience in quality control and assuranceInterpret verbal and written technical content to draft in a way that is appropriate for the intended audienceCollaborate with various stakeholders in managing technical issues using council software toolsEnsure Build Assurance Audits and Surveillance are delivered within agreed timeframes and scope per documented methodologyMaintain and apply all relevant standards and policiesAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyWhat you''ll need to be successfulThe successful candidate will have knowledge and some experience in applying construction and project management principles and practices. Skills and/or knowledge in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management, and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all required for this role.In this role, you will join our project delivery team and will be responsible for the successful completion of projects as part of that team.
