Immigration Manager - (Senior Migration Agent/Immigration Lawyer)Due to our national growth and expansion, in addition to our leading migration reform initiatives we are seeking an experienced senior migration agent or immigration lawyer to join our team as an Immigration Manager.This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the Australian immigration advisory profession.Through our strategic partnership with Thomson Geer, Migration Solutions has become a national Australian visa and immigration advisory firm.We are a team of registered migration agents and immigration lawyers working across our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.Migration Solutions was founded in 2001, Thomson Geer is a major Australian corporate law firm. We are currently rebranding, including developing a new website which will be launched in April 2026.Migration Solutions are leaders in contemporary Australian visa and immigration advice and for 25 years, we have delivered strategic immigration advice, assistance and guidance to businesses (local and international), key industry sectors, sporting teams and organisations, Government and individual visa applicants. We are a team of registered migration agents and immigration lawyers across our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.The Role:This is a senior immigration management role supervising, managing, training and mentoring others while providing the highest standards of immigration advice and assistance across multiple visa classes and subclasses.This role requires someone with significant immigration knowledge and experience and current competency and proficiency across all major areas (employer sponsored, corporate migration, sports visas, family visas, GSM, schedule 3, health waivers, PIC4020, cancellations, ART and Ministerial Intervention submissions). The role requires the supervision, management, training, development and mentoring of others within the team, whilst providing the highest standards of immigration advice and assistance across multiple classes and visa subclasses.In addition to the supervision, management, training, development and mentoring of others within the Migration Solutions team, other key responsibilities of this role include:Managing your own caseload of individual clients, working as part of the corporate migration team.Designing, developing and implementing innovative and contemporary migration pathways.Provide the highest quality advice and assistance to clients and key stakeholders.Working on complex cases, including demand driven, place based employer-sponsored visa programs.Communicate clearly and effectively with key stakeholders and clients.Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients.Support key stakeholders and corporate clients with compliance and mandatory reporting obligations.Conduct consultations and assessments with key stakeholders and clients providing accurate and complete advice regarding visa programs, pathways and opportunities.Lead or support internal process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Contribute to quality assurance, ensuring all applications meet internal standards prior to work commencing and lodgement of an application.About You Selection CriteriaProven ability to manage complex visa applications.Strong knowledge of the Migration Act, Regulations, and policy framework.Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and work to deadlines.Sound judgment and analytical skills in assessing visa eligibility and managing risks.Experience in all major migration programs and a genuine interest in ongoing growth, learning and development of personal and professional skills.Strong business and commercial acumen and experience working in a corporate environment.High level written and verbal communication skills are essential, as are advanced legal research skills.Ability to manage strict deadlines, follow file and time/cost management reporting requirements and posses exceptional attention to detail.A motivated team player who is honest, reliable, approachable, and professional.A willingness to grow and learn.Working as part of the Migration Solutions team, you will have access to:Working within a fun, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, collaborative and experienced team,A flexible hybrid work environment (up to 3 days working from home per week),Extra leave allowances, including 2 wellness days per year and a day off for your birthday,Working with Government departments and some of Australia''s leading businesses and industries across a diverse range of industry sectors,Career progression opportunities,Access to cultural, entertainment, and networking events,Opportunities to attend and to speak at high-profile events or forums,Visit key stakeholders, clients and our national offices and team interstate,Inhouse and external personal and professional development opportunities, including approved CPD activities,Access to industry conferences and seminars.You will not find a more dynamic and exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of Australian immigration, including the opportunity to shape the future of the Australian immigration program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
