Marina & Hardstand Administration OfficerAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsMarina & Hardstand Administration OfficerFull-Time | Marina & Shipyard OperationsA well-established and busy Marina and Shipyard is seeking an experienced and professional Marina & Hardstand Administration Officer to join our operations team on a full-time basis.This role is integral to the efficient administration of marina, hardstand, and shipyard operations and requires strong customer service, coordination, and administrative capability within a marine environment.Position PurposeTo provide administrative, sales, and customer service support to marina and shipyard operations, including coordinating vessel movements, managing bookings, invoicing, and liaising with customers, contractors, and operational staff.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide professional customer service and sales support to marina and shipyard customersManage bookings for marina berths, dry storage, cradle storage, and hardstand areasRespond to enquiries and prepare quotations for all servicesCoordinate Travelift and Forklift bookings and vessel movementsPrepare, issue, and receipt invoices prior to vessel relaunchLiaise with the Dockmaster, Operations Manager, and operational staff via UHF radioMonitor vessel movements within storage and operational areasPerform general office administration, including data entry, email correspondence, reconciliations, and bankingAssist with operational and administrative tasks as directedSupport the Speedydock App, used to manage launch requests and retrieval of boats in Dry StorageDaily Dock walks and Hardstand inspectionsComplete end of day closing procedureSkills, Experience and AttributesExperience or demonstrated knowledge of the marine leisure industry and/or shipyard operationsStrong knowledge of marina reservation and management systems (e.g. Pacsoft NG, Marina Master or similar) will be highly regardedExperienced in Microsoft; Word, Excel and OutlookStrong customer service skills with a professional and courteous mannerClear verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of accuracy in administrative tasks, including invoicing and data entryStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a teamCapacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, both indoors and outdoorsEmployment ConditionsEmployment Type: Full-TimeClassification & Remuneration: Commensurate with skills and experienceWeekend Work/Public Holidays: Is required on a limited basisHow to ApplyDirect application to; The Manager, Runaway Bay Marina, Email only, to [email protected].
