OverviewWorking as part of Aurizon''s Narngulu Rollingstock Maintenance team, you will be required to exercise your fabrication trade skills in servicing, repairing and maintaining rollingstock in order to ensure the efficient running of freight services.To conduct routine corrective maintenance and fault repair on wagons, locomotive fabrication, and repair work as requiredEnsure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specificationsMaintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systemsReport on actual work performed against the scheduled work programProgress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.About youExperience with Aluminium welding (desirable)Fabrication Trade Certificate or formal equivalentHigh level of knowledge of functions, defects and fault finding with equipmentHigh level of skill in interpreting technical instructions and drawingsStrong commitment to safetyCurrent unrestricted WA driving licenceLocomotive and wagon experience is desirable but not essential as training will be providedSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo a Category 1 Rail Medical, which include drug and alcohol screening.What we offer youAt Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
