Specifically, this service provides consultancy to several wards including the acute general medical and surgical units, coronary care, and subspecialty medical and surgical services.Opportunity to contribute to the development of the service.Access to Salary Packaging and Novated Lease options5 weeks annual leave entitlementWe are particularly looking for clinicians who have experience in public sector health settings. Experience in the training, mentorship and supervision of earlycareer Psychologists will be advantageous.Key responsibilities:This position involves using your consolidated skills and expertise to provide best care to the patients of the West, working alongside Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff. In this role, you will also collaborate with other Psychologists in the broader Specialist Medical Inpatient Service which includes Neuropsychology, Health Psychology and Clinical Psychology.You will be part of the expanding psychology team who provide holistic patientcentred care, delivering excellent patient outcomes, and providing evidencebased practice. You will have the opportunity to provide leadership and strategic direction within the team and be involved in research and quality improvement activities, while collaborating with other senior clinicians. You will receive supervision from Grade 4 Psychologists and be well supported in developing your clinical, leadership, supervision, and research skills.
