Providing support and assistance to the ASC Facilities Team, the role will be responsible for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks and inspections on all facility assets across ASC.ResponsibilitiesAddressing and conducting maintenance tasks for buildings, plant, grounds, workshops, office areas, kitchens and utilities.Use of plant and equipment i.e. hand and power tools.Support the day-to-day execution of facilities contractor maintenance tasks, including escorting contractors.Ensuring contractors'' adherence to ASC Safety and Security requirements, SWMS stipulations, and the delivery of their contracted scope of work.About youExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify maintenance issues within reasonable timeframes.Knowledge and experience in general building and maintenance techniques and procedures to be confident in the application of safe and technically compliant repairs within qualified and licensed limits.Attention to detail is crucial to ensure maintenance is carried out accurately and in compliance with safety regulations.The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to handle multiple maintenance requests simultaneously and complete tasks within given deadlines.Strong communication skills to interact with staff, contractors and external parties.Customer service mindset with friendly demeanour, adaptable and flexible to switch tasks when necessary.Carpentry experience desirable.Essential qualificationsValid driver''s licence.White card.Forklift and EWP preferred but training can be provided.Working at Heights and Confined Space training preferred but can be provided.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
