OverviewInternational Cyber Security product company seeks talented Java Developer with heavy Big Data experience. Will work with advanced Big Data systems. Must have exposure to Hadoop, Databricks, or Snowflake. 1 year contract assignment. $950 Daily. Option to Work-From-Home 100%.Technical SkillsProficiency in Big Data (Snowflake, Hadoop, or DataBricks etc...)Good understanding of Kafka.Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles.Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems.Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, SQL, Golang.AccountabilitiesInterface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.Qualifications5+ years of Software Engineering experienceBS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience requiredFor more information, please call Bob Wallace at 02 9091 8212. #J-18808-Ljbffr
