OverviewPosition: Events Coordinator and Little League AdministratorLocation: Queensland (State-wide)Organisation: Baseball QueenslandEmployment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesOrganise, administrate and grow the Little League compliant tournament suite annually.Organise, administrate and grow the Women''s, Youth Women''s and Girls tournaments annually.Organise, administrate and grow the Masters tournament, annually.Organise, administrate and grow the annual Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner.Work with the Performance Programs Manager to organise the Baseball Queensland Showcase annually.Organise, coordinate and grow the Futures League competition concept.Work with current staff to assist with seasonal competition administration across the state.Engage partners and sponsors to reduce delivery costs of competitions.Creation of new participation tournaments for unserved demographics.Provide support to the GBL Committee including competition management programs and IT solutions.Qualifications and ExperienceExperience in event management, or sports development, particularly within baseball or similar sports.Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for growing grassroots sports and engaging with affiliate organisations.Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.RequirementsBackground and experience with working with childrenBackground and experience in event managementKey RelationshipsInternal: The Chief-Executive-Officer; Baseball Queensland staff, contractors and volunteer committees; The Board of ManagementExternal: Clubs and individual membersPersonal and Behavioural AttributesWell-organised with strong attention to detail.Strong communicator with the ability to adapt approaches to different situations.Ability to independently problem-solve with the insight to seek assistance or clarification when required.Flexible and able to accommodate fluctuations in workload.Energetic, enthusiastic and driven.High level of personal and professional integrity.LocationThis position is located at the Baseball Queensland Office at Sportshouse, 150 Caxton St, Milton, Queensland 4064.Hours of WorkPermanent part time for 20 hours per week with flexible working hours available.RemunerationRemuneration is aligned with the Sporting Organisations Award 2020 - Clerical and Administrative Staff Grade 3 ($28.12 / hour).How to ApplyTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you''re passionate about the delivery and growth of our events and competitions via the Seek.com portal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
