In this role you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation in their respective department and the daily communications associated with manufacturing processes from both internal and/or external customers.Shift Hours: Monday - Friday from 4am - 12pmResponsibilitiesApply the 3WS Weigh Ahead system and Mixroom Manual PRO18 to pre-weigh raw materialSet up and place filters to pipe work and pumps in the Mixroom and advise when to flush linesSelect and assemble solution filters, and perform integrity tests before and after use, referring to Mixroom Manual Pro 018 and Job Instruction BreakdownPerform solution mixing tasks ensuring both day and afternoon shift batches are mixed and released on time to resume productionPerform daily and weekly cleaning and sanitization tasks required in the MixroomSet up bottle filling equipment for glass or plastic pour bottle production runs as requiredCarry out sanitization of the distilled water reticulation systemMonitor distilled water usage and storage levels, liaising with Leading Hand or Supervisor if problems occurPerform cleaning and passivation of stainless steel parts and equipment as required in Mixroom, Bottle Filling, and Viafl departmentsOperate walking stacker safely to transport raw materials as requiredAssist with the adding and removal of Sodium Lactate tanksAdvise shortages for chemical quantities and operating supplies required daily and report discrepancies to Leading Hand/Supervisor and appropriate departmentsAssist with on-the-job training of Mixroom personnelAssist with monthly raw material stock take when required.Use forklift safely to move materials as necessaryIncorporate EMS practices into the daily routine.Key RequirementsMust be able to perform the Primary Function demonstrated by passing the First Competency Assessment and Annual Competency AssessmentExcels under pressure, is approachable, and a great teammateAble to clearly present information through the spoken word; listens wellAble to relate to routine operational procedures; align with and follow policies and proceduresAble to start and persist with specific courses of action while demonstrating high motivation and a sense of urgencyAble to communicate with others in a helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapportAble to take action in solving problems using sound judgment.Equal Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
