Always looking to continuously improve and create competitive advantages, they seek to employ dedicated and motivated individuals who are looking to build a career, whilst always remaining committed to strategic plans and core company values.As part of their continued growth, they seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to join their Manufacturing team.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient day to day operation of manufacturing as well as be instrumental in managing all inhouse manufacturing processes from dispensing, compounding, filling, labelling and packing.You will support external production processes and work across Supply Chain to support all production releases whilst leading the Production Operation Teams which will involve rostering, daily and weekly task management, adherence to schedules, coaching and training, and providing a safe environment for all team members.Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your key responsibilities will be :Oversee dispensing, compounding, filling, labelling and packing processes within the production facilityAssist with quality sampling of raw materials, packaging or finished goods under direction from the Compliance TeamEnsure all manufacturing activity is correctly reflected in the ERPMaintain accurate identification and labelling requirements across all finished good productsPerform required cleaning procedures across dedicated areas and equipmentOversee the production and manufacturing consumable replenishment requirementsAssist Manufacturing Manager in innovating strategies to reduce downtime and minimise production delaysImprove output and identify areas where time can be saved or processes can be streamlinedReport on production plan adherence daily to Manufacturing ManagerConduct daily production start (Toolbox) meetings, ensuring that daily and weekly tasks assigned are completedIdentify gaps in Production Processes and provide systematic solutions to improve productionSupport training for SOP/WI and policies with internal stakeholdersApply mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machineryAdhere to GMP guidelines and protocols to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentProvide team leadership and supervision whilst ensuring safety and remaining compliantTo succeed in this exciting role, you will possess :Previous experience in a leadership capacityRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certificate or diploma5+ years'' experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, WMS and ERP softwareProficiency in quality control, managing budgets and production costsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting expertisePositive, proactive, professional attitudeAbility to build strong crossfunctional working relationshipsA desire to grow with the companyTo submit your application in strict confidence, click the ''apply'' button.
