Project Coordinator Industrial ProjectsNanango, Queensland | Full-time$200,000 + Super (depending on experience)Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of industrial projects across multiple sites while supporting the development of future project opportunities. This new and critical senior role oversees a diverse portfolio of work from major installation and shutdown campaigns to smaller, bespoke industrial installs with crews ranging from 5 to 30 personnel per work front. This is a high-profile, strategic position. While not handson, it requires a deep understanding of industrial project execution, gained through project management experience and/or strong operational background.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple industrial projects across concurrent sitesProvide leadership and direction to multiple site supervisors and operational teams, building trust through practical industry experienceAct as the face of the company, liaising with clients, subcontractors, internal teams, and key stakeholdersConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support site leadership while maintaining strategic oversightDevelop, maintain, and report on detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress using MS ProjectServe as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and resolving issues proactivelySupport project scoping, tendering, and forward planning to secure future work and maintain operational continuityEnsure all projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards, proactively identifying and mitigating riskProvide strategic input to senior leadership on project performance, resourcing, pipeline planning, and future opportunitiesAbout YouExtensive experience in project coordination or management within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of large-scale industrial projects, including shutdowns and complex installsPrior operational exposure to craneage, rigging, structural steel, or similar heavy industry works is highly regardedHighly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Project for complex scheduling and reportingHonest, trustworthy, and able to quickly earn the confidence of site teams, clients, and stakeholdersStrategic thinker, capable of balancing daytoday delivery with longterm planning and growth opportunitiesStrong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills across clients, supervisors, and senior leadershipCandidates without relevant industrial project experience are unlikely to be suited to this role.
