They guide us in achieving our strategic goals and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.The RoleThe Environmental Field Technician plays a key role in supporting the environmental, heritage, and cultural management activities across BCI Minerals'' remote Mardie Salt Operation. This hands-on position ensures that day-to-day site activities align with environmental regulations, land management principles, and the company''s commitment to responsible and sustainable operations. Working closely with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal Corporations, and internal environmental teams, the role contributes to biodiversity monitoring, heritage protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements, helping safeguard the unique natural and cultural values of the area.About YouWe are seeking a motivated and practical individual with experience in environmental fieldwork within the mining or resources sector. You will bring a developing knowledge of Australian flora and fauna, ecological principles, and a genuine interest in land stewardship. The successful candidate will be confident conducting field monitoring, handling fauna, and operating 4WD vehicles safely across remote environments. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining environmental and safety standards are essential.Equally important, you will demonstrate the ability to engage respectfully with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal Corporations, recognising the importance of cultural heritage and traditional knowledge in environmental management.
