BD is one of the global market leaders in providing solutions in soft tissue reconstruction including products for hernia repairs, specialised procedures, fixation and bioresorbable scaffolds.Reporting to the QLD Field Sales Manager, the successful candidate will primarily manage the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Territory which will also include Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay.The Territory Manager will be a motivated and self-driven individual who strives to overachieve on sales targets. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships across a range of specialties such as General, Plastics, Colorectal and Upper GI. This candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities in Sales Force to help drive adoption of best in class technologies.This individual will have the opportunity to work directly with the National Training Manager who will provide you with the training and skills to succeed in this role.ResponsibilitiesManages and achieves overall sales targets through effective prioritisation of current customers and new opportunitiesDevelops a pipeline of opportunities and business planning for the territoryEstablishes, maintains and develops key accounts based on business plan aligned to both organizational and customer goalsDevelops and maintains a level of excellence in clinical knowledge for BD products and competitorsDevelops and maintains a level of excellence in territory management, pipeline management and selling skillsDemonstrates strong organisational skills with SFDC calendar and call log managementManage consignment accounts effectively within your territoryMaintains strategic business relationships in key accounts. Performs product demonstrations, customer education, department meetings, and in service as requiredManage the territory with integrity and in accordance with BD''s Code of EthicsPreferred RequirementsMinimum 2+ years experience where the candidate has overachieved on sales targets in Health Care SalesDegree in healthcare or science preferredOR/Theatre experience preferredA strong understanding of the sales process and territory managementExhibits natural curiosity by asking questions and seeking to understandProven track record of high-level sales successes and driven to achieve resultsTeam player who enjoys sharing success.
