OverviewThe RoleThe Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products. All products are made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.Candidates are required to be available 3 days per week. The roster runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday, with Sunday off, then continues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7 days off. Each shift is 8 hours per day.ResponsibilitiesFollow safety protocols to perform basic machine adjustments and monitoringMonitor production process and inspect finished goods to ensure quality standards are metRecord/Report production data - including completing downtime sheetsEnsure production areas are cleaned to quality standardsAdhere to company safety and quality policies and proceduresAbout youExperience in a FMCG environment preferred but not essentialStrong multi-tasking skills with the ability to monitor multiple tasks at oncePositive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learnMechanical aptitude and strong computer literacySelf-starter and proactive nature with strong problem-solving skillsBega Group StoryBega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
