Join us, and let''s make content discovery simple, powerful, and inspiring!The RoleAs a Technical Implementation Manager at Simply.TV, you will lead and coordinate the successful technical onboarding and implementation of our data and metadata solutions for new and existing customers. Acting as the bridge between customers and internal teams, you ensure implementations are delivered on time, to scope, and to a high technical standard. This role blends technical understanding, structured delivery, and strong stakeholder management, ensuring smooth and predictable customer launches in a fastpaced, international environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage endtoend technical implementations, from kickoff through golive and handover to ongoing support.Gather, analyse, and document customer technical requirements and translate them into clear, actionable implementation plans.Coordinate closely with Engineering, Product, Data Operations, Editorial Teams, and Technical Account Managers to ensure aligned and timely delivery.Act as the primary technical point of contact during implementations, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and timelines.Oversee configuration, data setup, testing, and validation to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and quality standards.Track progress, communicate clear status updates, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, tooling, and documentation.Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to steadystate support and account ownership.Requirements & QualificationsBackground in Business/STEM/Data or a related field and a passion for tech products.03 years of experience in technical implementation, delivery, solutions engineering, or a similar customerfacing technical role.Experience in the TV industry (e.g., TV operator, broadcaster, or businesses handling TV/OTT metadata) is a plus.Basic understanding of APIs, data integrations, and modern SaaS or datadriven platforms.Comfortable managing multiple implementations or projects in parallel.Strong organisational skills and a structured, deliveryfocused mindset.Clear and confident communication in written and spoken English.Ability to work crossfunctionally and build strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.Proactive, detailoriented, and motivated to deliver highquality outcomes in a freelance capacity.Why join?Work at the forefront of media tech.Help shape how millions discover TV & streaming content.Be a trusted counterpart and work directly with key clients to drive technical success and satisfaction.Collaborate globally and with a strong team across continents that thrives on innovation and teamwork.Make a real impact and grow continuously.Gain exposure to advanced technologies, media systems, and client infrastructures.Contribute to solutions that empower millions of end users daily.PracticalitiesReports to: Director of Customer Implementation.Location: Homebased role requiring travel to client offices in Sydney upon request.Type of Collaboration: Freelance, fulltime (40 hours per week).Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: FulltimeJob function: Project Management and Information TechnologyIndustry: Newspaper Publishing #J-18808-Ljbffr
