We pride ourselves on the professionalism with which we pursue our goals and our strong links into our community.The OpportunityThe Bengalla Maintenance Team is a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for preventive, corrective and shutdown maintenance on Bengalla HME fleet. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are seeking skilled Electricians to join our Mobile maintenance team. Working closely with the broader Maintenance team, our Electricians play a pivotal role in maintaining our equipment through routine maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics in both the maintenance workshop and field environments. Using your knowledge and skills, you are enabled to take ownership, prioritise and plan tasks safely, efficiently and cost effectively as well as identify and action improvement opportunities that you see fit. Working a Lifestyle roster consisting of 12.5 hour shifts you will be responsible for:ResponsibilitiesTrouble shooting diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on our Truck and ancillary HME FleetPerforming scheduled Shutdown maintenance, statutory testing and electrical installationsEnsuring all work completed is to the highest standard to ensure fleet reliabilityProviding assistance in the development and improvement of maintenance strategiesComplying with Bengalla''s Health, Safety and Environmental procedures at all timesMentoring and developing our Electrical apprenticesQualifications And ExperienceElectrical Trade Qualification (Electrical Supervisors or Contractors Licence)High Voltage Switching accreditation or willingness to complete qualification.Demonstrated experience with maintenance of heavy mining equipment is preferred (Hitachi, Cat, Liebherr and Komatsu)A strong diagnosing and troubleshooting background with proven experienceExcellent communication skillsSound computer skillsExcellent work quality and attention to detailAbility to focus on continuous improvement, working safely and meeting environmental standards.What We OfferBengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
