At Bentleys, you''ll be part of a team that genuinely cares about your success.About the RoleAs a Junior Bookkeeper in our Emerald Business Services team, you''ll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly for both our clients and our internal team. You''ll be hands on with daytoday financial transactions - bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, monthend tidyups, and preparing payments for authorisation. You''ll support payroll processes too, from onboarding new employees through to processing pay runs, superannuation, leave entitlements, and endofyear finalisations.You''ll also help with compliance and reporting by preparing BAS/IAS, reconciling GST and PAYG, assisting with payroll tax and WorkCover lodgements, and reviewing client files to ensure they''re ready for yearend compliance or audit. As your confidence grows, you''ll help transition clients to new accounting software, deliver basic training, and support cash flow and management reporting.You''ll spend time collaborating with clients, answering questions, liaising with the ATO, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. Maybe you''ve already gained a little bookkeeping experience - perhaps in payroll, reconciliations, or BAS preparation, or you''re building on relevant studies in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance. You''re familiar with tools like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or Employment Hero, and you enjoy learning new systems.You communicate openly, ask great questions, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.
