Come and be a part of this success.The RoleThe Prominent Hill Ramp-up Manager will be responsible for ramp-up performance for the PHOX Project. The role will provide leadership to a highly skilled and diverse team, focused on both deliberate planning and safe and effective execution of ramp-up activities. This will include collaboration with Project Functions, external execution partners and Operational Teams, participation in project reviews and risk assessments, development and execution of project ramp-up strategies, and assurance over process. Travel between corporate offices and site assets will be required. The Manager will be the key driver for improved effectiveness and efficiency within the project ramp-up strategies, providing leadership to our Owner''s Team resources and influencing our execution partners. As a leading contributor and key advisor, deliver on accountabilities with an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development. This position is based at Prominent Hill on a 5/2, 4/3 basis (with flexibility) and is offered as FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta.In This Role You WillDevelop, manage and execute ramp-up strategies (focused on development and backfill) to balance risk and opportunity.Engage, influence and collaborate with the project execution team to successfully deliver the ramp-up strategy including a drive for commissioning effectiveness and efficiency.Collaborate closely with Senior Project and Operational representatives to ensure the successful start-up and ramp up of the project.Manage change effectively and efficiently to strategically enhance the team''s performance.Respectfully and professionally influence stakeholders to drive optimised outcomes, including Operational, Maintenance, Engineering and Technology teams.Work closely with other project streams including Development, Delivery, Operational Readiness, Project Engineering and Quality to ensure project synergies can be capitalised and lessons learned leveraged.Work in a proactive business culture with a supportive management structure, leveraging extensive experience to promote business excellence and apply skills in continuous improvement, technical knowledge, business acumen and communication.About YouDegree/Diploma in Mining Engineering or related discipline with significant underground development/project experience.Extensive experience relevant to commissioning, ramp-up planning and execution under various delivery models.Strong HSE capability, statutory compliance, emergency response, bowtie risk, and critical control verification.Previous experience in a similar senior role, having managed and developed teams and the ability to work within a complex environment.Leadership experience within a major project (>$1B) is highly desirable.As an experienced professional with a passion for guiding, developing and influencing teams through mentoring and coaching, with strong leadership abilities to drive a high-performance team.Energetic and driven, with a strong understanding of safe operations and safe behaviour fundamentals, able to work under pressure and uncertainty with high attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.A performance- and achievement-oriented professional with excellent engagement and communication skills.Proactive, credible and influential, able to relate well with people, communicate confidently and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.How to ApplyPlease apply before 18 February 2026About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
