Bidfood is a national foodservice leader, and you''ll play a key role in keeping things moving behind the scenes, ensuring products are picked, packed and delivered with precision.About the roleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to manage a team of up to 15 people and organise, supervise and control all work activity relating to picking, replenishment, assembly, loading and delivery of products is conducted accurately and product integrity is maintained. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.ResponsibilitiesCoach, mentor and execute performance management as requiredControl and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage and overtimeLiaise with the Operations Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changesPromote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered toMaintain truck run schedules and despatched truck registersAbout youWe''re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly.
