An opportunity exists for a fulltime Warehouse Pick and Packer at our foodservice branch located in Mackay.About the roleReporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be required to accurately pick and pack goods, ensuring the loading of trucks are correct and on time. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting. Training on in-house systems will be provided.DutiesPick and assemble goods accuratelyAssist with loading of trucksEmploy correct stock rotation principles at all times based on ''first in first out'' ruleAdhere to time constraints and maintain product integrityVarious roles available, which may require the ability to work in the freezer storage area, at -22 C temperaturesSunday to Thursday position, with flexibility as overtime may be requiredSkills and ExperienceForklift licence (advantageous)Cold Storage / Warehousing ExperienceBe physically fit and able to pick and pack, as some heavy lifting is requiredGood written and verbal communications skillsPrevious warehouse experience and delivery experience is desirable but not essentialPossess a high level of accuracy with attention to detailAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAbout Bidfood MackayBidfood Mackay is more than just part of Australia''s leading foodservice distributor we''re a trusted partner to the heart of Central Queensland''s coastal and industrial foodservice scene.
