You''ll support hospitality and foodservice businesses by managing the inventory of products they need. Your attention to detail and forward planning will help keep kitchens running smoothly, from local cafs and restaurants to hospitals and aged care facilities.About the roleOn a day-to-day basis, you''ll manage stock levels and place orders to keep inventory flowing. You''ll also work closely with sales reps to source new products and introduce new suppliers. The role will also be responsible for:Monitoring inventory and generating reportsProcessing purchase orders and stock transfersApplying supplier deals and promotional pricingCoordinating with suppliers and internal teamsMaintaining accurate product and pricing dataSupporting admin tasks and branch operationsRepresenting Bidfood with a professional, solutions-focused approachAbout youWhile previous purchasing experience is preferred, we''re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working with numbers and systems.
