Our services are provided in a personalised setting to achieve quality care and a safe environment.ResponsibilitiesManaging challenging situations with a positive attitude applying policy, procedure and legislation requirements.Delivering high quality services to children and young people with high and complex needs in a therapeutic residential setting.Provide active support to our children and young people by being a positive role model and assisting them in day-to-day activities including getting dressed, showered, preparing meals, coordinating activities, transportation, planning for and achieving daily goals.Forming and maintaining professional nurturing relationships with the children and young people by building trust through active engagement.Administering medication, understanding young people''s health and wellbeing plans while following medication documentation and protocols.Assist the child or young person in maintaining a positive relationship with their parent or family member in a safe, secure environment that is free from conflict.Supervise access visits between participants.Observe and record interactions between participants and the children and young people.Working effectively with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people at all times.BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate based on SCHADS Award $43$44.60 (pending qualifications).Internationally recognised Therapeutic Crisis Intervention qualification.Opportunities for professional development for our staff.Reflective practice and ongoing training, supervision and support.24/7 crisis and incident support.Opportunity to work across our other organisation Integrity 4 Life as a Disability Support Worker.Recruitment ContactPlease contact our recruitment team at ... #J-18808-Ljbffr
