As the largest privately owned civil contractor in Australia, BMD is at the forefront of excellence, with a growing international footprint extending to the Philippines and the United Kingdom.About the RoleBased on recent project awards for resource sector work in the Pilbara, we are actively seeking a Civil Supervisors to oversee and deliver package works for one of WA''s Tier 1 mining operators.Working a 2:1 FIFO roster and reporting to our Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading an established team on an 18-month planned project.Offered as a full time and permanent position, you will be responsible for:Work closely with the Superintendent and other key stakeholders in delivering your allocated work scope safely, on time and to the required quality standardsActively drive safe outcomes in undertaking all activities by ensuring that the BMD safety and cultural behaviours are applied by the teamContribute to and support short and medium-term planning and scheduling for your works area with respect to the overall project requirementsWork closely with all other stakeholders across the Project site in achieving required outcomesEffectively planning works in your allocated areaManage and lead direct labour teams as well as contracting groupsProvide a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the overall success of the projectAbout YouGreat people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills.
