With six global manufacturing locations and some of the most advanced drilling technology on the market, Boart Longyear continues to be innovators of the industry.Reporting to the Facilities and Warehouse Manager, an exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Lead based in Brisbane, to oversee day to day inbound and outbound activity of the Warehousing and Inventory functions and to fulfill the strategic longer term inventory directives for Boart Longyear Drilling Products.ResponsibilitiesDirect and control all warehousing and inventory functions to optimise the utilisation of the Brisbane Distribution CentreControl the selection and training of warehouse staff delegating responsibilities to teamLead and promote a Safety Culture through managing the warehouse EHS Safety Management PlanPerform / Oversee following functions:Inventory cycle counting, stock takes, claims, variance resolution and all other inventory management tasksSupervise the process of inbound and outbound of the goods for control and efficiencySupervise the picking and packing process, for both timeliness and accuracyManage claims, identify root cause, perform analysis and take the corresponding action to reduce occurrencesCoordinate with internal customers for order prioritization and management of transportationPlan, evaluate, distribute and develop the warehouse teams focus in order to achieve set goals and targetsProvide timely shipping and transportation documentation back to all customersPromote a culture of compliance in line with our Legal and Corporate Policy requirements.QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years'' experience in warehousing and inventory management.Candidates who are highly structured, well organised, meticulous planners and are focused on delivering the highest level of customer service at all times will be held in high regard.Boart Longyear is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and our success is driven by the skills and dedication of our people.
