We have a number of customers based in Australia so we are building an efficient field operations team to support. The work will involve onboarding growers to the machinery and autonomy, supporting ongoing operations, and interfacing with potential partners (for example equipment dealers.)The role will involve substantial travel across Australia, including locations such as Robinvale VIC, Griffith NSW and Maryborough QLD among others.Join our dynamic team and be at the forefront of revolutionizing agriculture with cuttingedge mechatronic machinery.Your primary responsibility will be to conduct infield product feature testing, troubleshoot issues onsite, and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to implement shortterm and longterm equipment fixes. You will coordinate logistics for test equipment, execute test plans, perform root cause analysis, and document results in detail. You will also onboard new customers through deployment of robots across a variety of farms and industries.What you''ll doHandson involvement in setting up, maintaining, testing, and customizing equipment based on engineering test requirements.Conduct comprehensive test plans, evaluating system and featurerelated hardware, software, and machine vision components.Perform root cause analysis and necessary repairs, documenting each step meticulously for future reference.Keep track of issues and progress in resolving them, ensuring transparency and efficient communication.Collaborate closely with customers, account managers, and engineers to gather insights and feedback.Provide infield engineering support, collecting data and diagnosing equipment performance to optimize operations.Contribute to product enhancement by sharing valuable customer observations, comments, and concerns with our Management and Engineering teams.Assist Engineering in creating comprehensive product documentation, instructions, and guides.QualificationsBachelor''s degree or relevant work experience in Engineering, Agronomy, Ag Systems Technology3 years in supporting / maintaining agricultural electromechanical systemsExperience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics and mechanical systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customerfacing skills & teamoriented mindsetWillingness to travel constantly to the field to provide handson supportExperience with Agricultural and/or Construction equipment and working with large machineryMust frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.Bonsai Robotics values diversity, inclusivity, and excellence in hiring and strongly encourages candidates from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
