Border Express is growing and we''re looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join our busy Salisbury South depot.We have ongoing casual and full-time roles, Monday to Friday, working in a fast moving general freight environment. If you''re reliable, safety minded and confident on the forks, you''ll fit right in.These positions are responsible for the safe and effective movement of freight within the branch and on an off our linehaul and local fleet.Success in this position will be measured when Delivered In Full On Time (DIFOT) targets are met and a safe workplace is actively demonstrated. This is a front line position, which requires a high level of communication, professionalism and customer service to be applied consistently every day.ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading tautliners, PUD trucks and linehaul trailersAlways check load restraint, packaging and the condition of freight before it travelsSorting and staging freight safely and efficientlyWorking with the team to keep freight moving through the depotCompleting basic paperwork and scanning as neededKeeping your work area clean and following all safety proceduresReport all damages to freight or forklift to your supervisor immediatelySkills and ExperienceLF Forklift Licence (required)Ability to read consignment notes and follow load plansReliable, safety focused attitudeAble to work in a fast paced, high volume environmentExcellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work unsupervisedSupportive crew and strong safety cultureStable, growing national freight business with plenty of shiftsIf you''re a hands-on worker who takes pride in doing the job properly, Apply now!Want to know Border ExpressAt Border Express we''re committed 100% to providing the very best supply chain services for Australia.
