The School supports creativity within a supportive environment where teamwork is encouraged both within and across disciplines.PurposeThe primary purpose of the position is to ensure consistency of brand, messaging and imagery across all marketing and communications at Brisbane Grammar School. The Communications and Marketing Manager is instrumental in the continued development of engaging, informative and strategic communications across online platforms and printed publications. The Communications and Marketing Manager works collaboratively with key stakeholders internally and externally to support the production of print publications and digital communications.DutiesExternal CommunicationsSupport the production of the school''s print and digital publicationsSupport the team to develop, publish and optimise content on the BGS website, including liaising with IT and developers to enhance website functionality.Support the team to develop high quality content for various social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn.Lead the delivery of the digital content calendar, including planning and coordinating activities for various channels (website, email and social media), identifying opportunities and producing engaging and effective content.Ensure compliance with data management protocols and email marketing.Internal CommunicationsLead key communications projects across the school to support key stakeholders, including writing, editing, proofing and publishing content across platforms.Develop staff communications plans, key messaging and content to support effective communications for key projectsOversee Internal communications systems and protocols, including school intranet publishing in collaboration with ICT.Oversee all on-campus signage and digital displaysManage the School''s digital asset management (DAM) system for storing images and consent for students PixevetyMarketingContribute to BGS marketing strategy to support engagement across website, digital/social media channels.Brief and collaborate with multimedia to create multi-media content including photo and video for digital channels.Manage relationship with digital agency, briefing campaigns, leading strategy and managing budgets.Creation and briefing of marketing materials to support events, activities and fundraising at BGS, working with the Graphic Designer.Digital Marketing strategies and campaigns for enrolments and boarding activitiesAssist with placement and monitoring of the various digital advertising channels.Conduct regular analysis to inform content creation and enhance delivery of content, and comprehensive reporting to ensure continued engagement, and optimal performance for digital channels.GeneralWork closely with the Graphic Designer to support the BGS Brand HubLiaise with key stakeholders to collect content material for the various publications.Participate proactively in team project initiatives.Support other team members in periods of high demand and during periods of absence.Participate in project groups and attend events.Personal SkillsManaging Oneself: Manages and cares for self to maintain resilience and communicates when support is required.Teamwork: Cooperates and works well with others in the pursuit of team goals.
