You will act as a key financial Business Partner to the Operations, Supply Chain and Finance Teams. To commence as soon as possible, perfect for candidates residing North of the River, Perth.ResponsibilitiesLead and finalise monthly management accounts in line with US-GAAP and internal policiesOwn the month-end close process including preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments, revenue adjustments and intercompany journalsPerform detailed variance analysis against budgets and rolling forecasts by product line and country, clearly articulating key drivers and impactsPlay a lead role in the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts for the Australasian regionAnalyse and forecast key business drivers such as rig activity, service utilisation, inventory consumption and labour costs, providing scenario-based insightsPartner closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Field Service Teams to support cost control, margin management and job performanceProvide financial and commercial input into tenders, pricing decisions, capital investment proposals and ad hoc analysis for Senior LeadershipRequirementsBachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline; CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) preferredProven experience in management accounting or financial reporting, ideally within oilfield services, energy, engineering or industrial environmentsStrong working knowledge of US-GAAP with experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency operations''Hands-on'' experience with general ledger management, journals, inter-company accounting, month-end close and management reportingAdvanced MS Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion and Power BI will be highly regardedStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, challenge assumptions and deliver forward-looking commercial insightsExcellent communication skills with the confidence to partner with non-finance stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environmentBenefitsParking available on-siteExcellent negotiable salaryAbout BrunelBrunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
