You may know Bupa for our health insurance, dental and optical clinics, and aged care services, but did you know we also deliver visa medical assessments across Australia on behalf of the Australian Government for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.Key DetailsOur ReceptionistConcierge''s are the first point of contact for our customers in our Visa Medical Assessment Centres and provide information and instructions to help guide our customers through the medical assessment process making sure that customers are aware of what they need to do and why.We''re looking for:A casual Receptionist to join our Southport, Gold Coast team.Availability to pick up shifts across Monday to Saturday as required, annual leave and sick leave cover.Centre hours can be from 8am6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 8am1pmAvailability to work on a rotational roster between opening hoursWhat you''ll do:As part of our professional Reception and Concierge team you will be greeting customers and ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed and resolved with a customerfocused, respectful, caring and professional approach. You will be adhering to established process and procedure accurately to assist customers through the steps of the assessment process, including:Conducting an identity and security check and escalating any identified risksProcessing payments via EFTPOSConfirming customer documentation is completed to requirements and processing formsConfirming which examinations the customer is required to complete and explaining this to the customerEntering required data and information into customer management systems and databasesExplaining the steps throughout the visa medical examination and ensuring the customer understands the key elements of the visa medical examination processYour background:Our Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you''ll need:Demonstrated customer focus and a professional, serviceorientated and helpful approachExcellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and constant outcomes in a busy and repetitious environmentWelldeveloped communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and staff, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and adapting communication style to meet the needs of the customer as well as convey information and key points clearly and conciselySound IT and computer skillsThe ability to work effectively within a highly structured environment driven by procedure and process, and adhere to established processes, quality standards and targetsWhy Bupa:This isn''t your average Receptionist position.
