OverviewEmergency Department Clerk (night shift)Permanent Part Time position (2-3 shifts per week) Cabrini Malvern locationBetter Facilities Brighter Futures - Be part of Cabrinis next era of care. Join us as we shape a future where world-class care and career growth go hand-in-hand.About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Emergency Department Clerk to play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our 24/7 Emergency Department. Working night shifts (a minimum of 2-3 per week) you will be at the frontline of patient care helping to ensure every patient''s journey begins with a positive and professional experience. Shift times are between 9:15pm-7:15am and 9:30pm-7:30am.This essential role involves a variety of administrative responsibilities including:Accurately registering patients collecting required information and processing paymentsSupporting patient admissions and discharge processesMaintaining accurate confidential patient records and submitting online Medicare claimsReception and switchboard coverage where requiredCollaborating closely with clinical staff to enable seamless patient careWhat you will bring to the roleYou are a customer-focused professional who takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming experience for patients.
