Based in Sydney, responsible for overall performance and reliability of the Parramatta Light Rail Vehicles. The Warranty Engineer reports to the Depot Manager.ResponsibilitiesOngoing review and improvement of fleet performance and reliabilityPreparing performance overview fortnightly for the FRACAS meetingManagement of planning and implementation of modificationsTrend identification and analysis that leads onto fleet checks/engineering change requests engineering change request (ECR) if a systematic fault is identifiedRaising ECR''s and investigating systematic failures and gathering data on failuresLiaising with clients, suppliers and CAF Spain on all reliability and performance issues this includes attending regular meetings regarding the following:Weekly SAF meetingsModification meetings with the client and operatorCAF representation on relevant meetingsPerformance overview meetingsECR meetings with CAF SA representativeOther meetings as requiredCompiling reports as requiredRunning training sessions from time to timeGeneral duties as directed by managementActively participate in promoting health and safety in the workplace and encouraging others to do the same. Take part in health and safety initiatives, such as workplace inspections, hazard identification and others as required.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all health and safety, quality and environmental legislative requirements.Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality consciousness.
