Overview2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsWe are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead sales growth for our new Commercial & Industrial (C&I below 20MWh) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and turnkey solar + storage solutions across Australia and New Zealand. This role will focus on developing the customer pipeline, winning key commercial opportunities, and establishing Canadian Solar as a trusted partner in the evolving distributed energy market.You will help shape our sales strategy, build strong customer relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth across commercial, industrial, and community energy sectors. This role reports to the General Manager, Senior Management and is suited to someone who is highly proactive, confident in solution-based selling, and experienced in renewable energy and storage project sales.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales and business development for C&I BESS and turnkey solar + storage solutions across Australia and New Zealand.Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging industry relationships and market insights.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, EPCs, developers, and consultants.Lead customer negotiations and support development of commercial agreements in collaboration with legal, technical, and commercial teams.Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies.Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting.Develop in-depth understanding of market trends, customer needs, and policy drivers affecting C&I storage and distributed energy.Represent the company at industry events, customer visits, conferences, and trade shows.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery and long-term relationships.Travel across Australia and New Zealand as required (approx. 3040%).Support the creation of a broader team, including sales, project management, and O&M functions.Professional Experience & Qualifications5+ years'' experience in sales, business development, or project development within renewable energy, solar, BESS, EPC, or electrical infrastructure sectors.Demonstrated success selling technical or turnkey solutions in commercial and industrial customer segments.Experience managing multiple stakeholders and negotiating commercial agreements.Understanding of financial modelling and ROI/investment analysis.Strong communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth environment and meet revenue targets.Experience within a multinational organisation or across diverse customer bases is desirable.Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as needed.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesRenewable EnergySemiconductor Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
