Each plays a pivotal role in driving and elevating fundraising efforts within a designated region, focusing on identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors to support our Major Campaigns and fostering longterm partnerships to support the organization''s growth and mission. The role requires frequent travel within the Darling Downs region and beyond to meet with potential donors, attend events and engage with key community partners.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeFundraising Development: Implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the region, identifying and capitalising on regional opportunities for funding and support.Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: Building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with individual, community organisations, schools, sporting clubs, businesses and professional networks, including direct solicitation, proposals and donor meetings to secure contributions.Community Engagement: Fostering relationships with community leaders, businesses and organisations to generate support for fundraising initiatives.Fundraising Data Management: Maintaining accurate records and tracking and analysing donor data, campaign performance, and fundraising outcomes.Public Relations & Communications: Serving as an ambassador for the organization in the region while promoting fundraising efforts through various channels including social media, newsletters and press outreach.Volunteer Relationships: Leading and supporting regional fundraising volunteers.This role is a permanent, parttime position (15 hours per week) based in Toowoomba.About YouExperience developing winning proposals, including from local government grants, individual and corporate donors.Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal), good editing skills and the ability to tailor communication materials for different audiences.Confident networker with experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a range of donors and stakeholders.Commitment to providing effective support to peers, volunteers and partners possessing a range of skills and experience.Experience delivering funding strategies in line with organisation capacities and program strategies and achieving funding targets.Business and financial literacy, ability to analyse and devise robust budgets that deliver full cost recovery.A valid Australian Drivers Licence (Open or Provisional for motor vehicles).A current First Aid Certificate (including currency of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills), or have the ability to obtain one (which will be paid by CCQ).Experience in fundraising, development, or management in a notforprofit organization in Australia is desirable, but not essential.BenefitsFlexible work arrangements (Flexible Work Hours and Hybrid Work options).ATOApproved Salary Packaging up to the value of $18,549 per Fringe Benefit Tax year.Recognition and Rewards Program.Professional Development Allowance.Workplace health programs, such as Fitness Passport.Cancer Council Shop discount.How to applyApplications Should Be Addressed To #J-18808-Ljbffr
