OverviewCanon USA is seeking a Copier Account Executive (Executive, Technical Sales) for the Mid-West region. The Copier Account Executive role involves developing strategies to increase sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and end users, promoting strong business relationships with assigned dealers and their branches while maintaining the highest ethical standards. The role requires effective communication with Fortune 500 level executivesincluding CEOs, CIOs, and CFOsto present high-level sales strategies, ROI analyses, and technical workflow solutions, and providing technical expertise to assist dealers and customers in selecting hardware and software solutions. Additional responsibilities include managing dealer accounts and territories, coordinating product launches and updates, organizing events and tradeshows, and applying professional expertise to resolve routine issues within company policies.This is a full-time, virtual position. The office is open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Work schedules and office reporting requirements may change based on business needs.Your ImpactDevelop strategies to increase sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and with End Users; promote strong business relationships between Canon and assigned dealers and officesCommunicate effectively with Fortune 500 customers (CEO, CIO, CFO), presenting high-level sales strategies, ROI analyses, and technical workflow analysesAssist the Dealer Sales Channel and End User customers with technical knowledge enabling detailed analysis and recommended hardware and software solutionsManage Dealer Sales Channel accounts, territories, marketing program implementation, education, and other channel-related supportConduct high-level introductory sales calls; provide retail sales channel proposal development and bid supportCoordinate and implement product launches and equipment/software updates with the Dealer Sales ChannelCoordinate events and tradeshowsOperate within established policies and standard practices; apply professional expertise to resolve routine issuesDevelop specialized knowledge in a functional area and learn to apply company policies and proceduresMaintain working knowledge of Canon products and servicesQualificationsBachelor''s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; 3-5 years of related experienceExperience with copier sales / A3 market requiredB2B retail sales and/or customer-facing experience in copier dealer/manufacturer environment preferredExperience selling directly to end users is requiredCompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ certification is a plusCompTIA Network+ certification is a plus5+ years in sales/sales support and related experienceTravel of 75% or more in the Mid-West is expectedThis position works remotely from a home office near a major metropolitan city/airport and requires overnight travel. A valid state driver''s license is required to obtain the position. The role involves driving as an essential function of the job and requires compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.Salary & BenefitsSalary range: $69,300 - $103,770 annually. This role is eligible for commissions under the terms of an applicable plan.
