OverviewPort Macquarie, New South Wales Full-timeDevelopment Assessment Planner opportunity to join PMHC. The successful candidate will undertake development assessment and related activities for Council. Succeeding in this role requires relevant recent experience in development assessment within a local government context, strong knowledge of the relevant legislation, stakeholder engagement, and excellent communication skills.ResponsibilitiesAssess and determine a wide range of Development Applications, from basic to complex.Respond to general enquiries, including taking part in Council''s Duty Planner roster.Participate in pre-lodgement and Development Assessment Panel meetings.Contribute to business improvement initiatives.Remuneration and BenefitsEmployment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per weekSalary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $97,130 to $108,719 depending on skills and experience, PLUS superannuation of 12%.Opportunity for a performance-based increase after achieving set goals.
