The Youth Justice program is primarily responsible for supervision and case management of young people between 1021 years of age who have committed offences and been sentenced to community or custodial based statutory orders and/or on release from custody on parole. Through supervision, offending related programs and linkages to appropriate support services, the program promotes opportunities for rehabilitation and contributes to the reduction of crime in the community. About the Role As the Team Leader, you will provide strong leadership to a team of staff who will promote the personal development of young people who offend and contribute to the diversion and rehabilitation of the young person and the reduction of crime in the community. You will plan and manage casework and the day-to-day delivery of services to clients. You will plan, develop, implement and monitor client service plans and short and long- term intervention strategies. Your responsibilities will include supervising and providing leadership to the team, providing authoritative advice and support to Youth Justice workers and preparing reports.
